How to add Games to doxy.me

The first time you use Games on doxy.me, you’ll need to add the app to your account.

  1. Begin by signing into your doxy.me account.

  2. On the dashboard, navigate to the Apps button on the Sidebar.

  3. Now, find Games and click Add to doxy.me.

  4. Once added, the app will be available to use from your Dashboard.

How to use Games during a session

Games can be launched at any time during a doxy.me appointment.

  1. During an appointment, navigate to the Control bar.

  2. Select Apps and choose Games from the menu.

  3. Choose your preferred Game option

Memory Games

Memory Games help improve patient focus and cognitive function by matching pairs of images. You can choose from a variety of themes, each with a different number of pairs for patients to find. Have the patient select pairs of cards to see their associated images. Remember which image goes where to find the ones that match. Correct matches will disappear from the board until there are no cards left, and the game will be complete.

Emotion Matching

Emotion Matching enables you to support patients in identifying emotions by matching words to corresponding facial expressions. Different images will show up one at a time on the screen, accompanied by three options for the matching word. Have the patient choose the word that best matches the image. If they get the answer wrong, they will automatically be prompted to try again.

Understand the patient’s Games experience

The patient’s screen will show your chosen game after you click Start. The game will adapt to their screen size if necessary, i.e., if you are on a desktop and the patient is using a mobile device, their view will differ slightly from yours for an optimal experience. You will be able to see when a patient clicks on a response - and if needed, you can also make selections on their behalf. Both you and the patient will see the same game feedback: success or try again.
