Require patients to agree to your terms of service before entering your room

Doxy.me gives you the ability to have patients review and agree to your terms of service upon checking in to your waiting room. This article covers how to connect your online terms of service to your doxy.me account. You will need to have a web page that lists your terms of service in order to use this feature.

Once you complete the steps below, a link to your terms of service will appear in the doxy.me check-in window. Patients will be required to check the box in order to enter your waiting room.

Set Up Custom Terms of Service for a Personal Room

  1. From your Dashboard, click Account Settings.

  2. Select the Room tab.

  3. Toggle on Custom terms of service link.

  4. Enter the link to your terms of service.

  5. Click Update to save.

Note: When a patient checks the terms of service box, it allows them to enter your waiting room. This is the only proof of agreement that currently exists. There is no other record or date/time stamp on this agreement.

To Set Up a Custom Terms of Service for a Shared Room

Clinic account admins can add custom terms of service for shared rooms.

  1. Go to Account Settings in the dashboard.

  2. Click on Clinic settings.

  3. Expand the Shared rooms.

  4. Click Settings next to the Shared room.

  5. Toggle on Custom terms of service link.

  6. Enter the link to your terms of service.

  7. Click Save changes to save.
