Browser notifications
Browser notifications are alerts that pop up on your computer—outside of the doxy.me browser window—letting you know when something important happens, like a patient checking in.
They're helpful if you're multitasking or not actively watching your doxy.me tab.
Helpful for multitaskers: You can work in other apps and still get notified when a patient arrives
Ideal if you’re desk-based: Great for providers who are typically at their computers when patients check in
May need setup: You might have to tweak your browser settings to enable them
💡Tip: Safari does not currently support browser notifications in doxy.me. If you’d like to use browser notifications, please use Chrome.
Turn on browser notifications
Go to Settings on your dashboard
Open the Preferences tab
Slide the Check in notifications toggle to activate
