In order for a patient to have a doxy.me call with you, the patient needs to know how to find your room online. To do this, they will need your personalized room URL which can be found on the dashboard as shown below.
You can share the link to your waiting room in many different ways, several of which are found directly on the dashboard.
Invite options available to all providers

Email invite through doxy.me (maintains privacy)
Regardless of the type of invite, each has a default message that you can edit before sending. Invites should never include protected health information (PHI).
When invites are not received by the patient
Sending digital invites to patients is a popular option, but it's important to keep in mind that email services and wireless providers sometimes filter or block such messages. If a patient reports not receiving an invite, this is usually the reason. In such cases, it may be necessary to use one of the following alternative options:
Text it to them directly
Share it with them over the phone
Email appointment invites
Send with your email address | Free
Option 1: Send from your email account on a web browser
Click on Invite via on your Dashboard
Select Email and move the top toggle to Send from my email
Select the email service you use (Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook)
This action will open a new tab or window in your browser. You will be prompted to log in if you are not already logged in to the service.
Enter your patient's email address
Edit the invite, if desired
Click Send
Option 2: Send from the default email program on your device
Click on Invite via on your Dashboard
Select Email and move the top toggle to Send from my email
Select Use my default email
This action will open your default email application. If you have not already set up a default email program on your device, you will be prompted to choose one and then log in.
Enter your patient's email address
Edit the invite, if desired
Click Send
Send directly from doxy.me | Premium Plan
Click on Invite via on your Dashboard
Select Email and move the top toggle to Send from doxy.me
Enter the patient’s email address
Optional
To include a calendar hold in the email, select the appointment date and time
Edit the message
Click Send
To send an invite email in another language, select the language dropdown.
Branded email invites | Premium plan
If your clinic has custom branding enabled, email invites will reflect your clinic’s branding automatically.
This includes:
Your clinic name
Your logo
Your brand color
Branding is applied at the clinic level and appears consistently, regardless of which room you select.

If you’re on a Premium plan and have access to multiple rooms, a Room dropdown will appear in the invite window.
You can send invites for:
Your Personal Room
Any Shared Room or other room you have access to
The list is ordered:
Your Personal Room first
All other accessible rooms alphabetically
You will only see rooms you have permission to use.
Text message appointment invites
Send directly from doxy.me | Paid plans
Click on Invite via on your Dashboard
Select Text message
Enter the patient’s phone number
Optional
Select the appointment date and time to include details in the message
Edit the message
Click Send message
To send an invite email in another language, select the language dropdown.

If you have access to multiple rooms, a Room dropdown will appear.
Select the room before sending the invite. The patient will receive a text message with the selected room link.

The purpose of a daily limit
Doxy.me has a daily limit for doxy.me email invites. We did this to protect against the misuse of this feature which could result in email providers choosing to block our email. This would prevent your patients from receiving doxy.me email invites to their appointment with you.
If you reach the daily limit
It’s unlikely that you will reach the daily limit. If you do, you’ll receive the following notification message.
You've reached the 12-hour limit for email invites. Please see our help article for more details. Try again MM/DD/YYYY HH:MM
Note: If you're close to the limit and try to send more email invites than the limit allows, you'll receive the warning message you see above and none of your emails will be sent. Try sending fewer email invitations until your limit is reached.
If you reach the daily limit, here are your options:
If you were trying to send a large number of emails (as described above), try sending fewer
Wait until the time shown on the notification message before sending any additional doxy.me email invites
Send a different type of doxy.me invite
Text message invite
Personal email invite (such as your work email account)
Calendar invite
Reach out to customer support to discuss the possibility of increasing your daily limit

Doxy.me has a daily limit for text message invites to protect against the misuse of this feature. Misuse could result in the feature's number being blocked, leaving patients unable to receive provider text invites.
If you reach the daily limit
It’s unlikely that you will reach the daily limit. If you do, you’ll receive the following notification message.
You've reached the 12-hour limit for text invites. Please see our help article for more details. Try again MM/DD/YY at HH:MM.
If you reach the daily limit, here are your options:
Wait until you can send more invites (as shown in the notification message)
Send an email invite to your patient using doxy.me email invitations
Reach out to customer support to discuss the possibility of increasing your daily limit
