To have a doxy.me call, you need to give your browser and device permission to access your webcam and microphone. Grant permission to camera and microphone whenever doxy.me prompts you to do so.

Step 3: Make sure the toggle is blue for camera and microphone, this will ALLOW access to those devices.

Most Windows 10 devices have multiple outputs for the integrated camera and microphone, but it may not always default to the correct one. Here's how to change it in your Chrome settings:

Doxy.me uses your device and browser's permissions to access the camera/microphone.
Step 5. Select camera and/or microphone.
Step 6. Select the web browser(s) (Chrome, Firefox, etc.) that you wish to update.
Step 7. Choose Allow all the time (recommended) or Allow only while using the app.
Selecting "Ask every time" may result in intermittent camera/mic permissions issues.

To have a call on a Surface Pro, you need to provide access to your webcam and microphone. This usually only needs to be done once.
If you are still unable to see yourself in the video feed, you may need to check a few things in the following order:

Step 3. When you see the camera preview, select the 3 dots in left corner of image
Step 4. Once Device Settings opens, switch camera from Back Camera to Front Camera
