See your patient in a floating window while using other applications

Updated over a week ago

Use Picture-in-picture to keep your patient in view while working in another tab or window. For example, you can take notes in your EHR while you continue the call with your patient. Picture-in-picture makes multitasking easier and helps you maintain patient engagement.

NOTE: This feature is available only for paid plans.

How to enable Picture-in-picture:

  1. Start a call with one person or multiple participants.

  2. Using the control bar, click on the My apps button (to the right of the mute button).

  3. Select Picture-in-picture from the menu. This will create a small drag-able window in the lower right corner of the screen.

  4. This window can then be moved around your monitor and resized as you see fit.

Pro tip: It's good practice to place the Picture-in-picture as close to your camera as possible (usually at the top center of your computer screen). This helps your patient feel as though you are looking at them because it draws your eyes close to your camera. Whereas, if you have the Picture-in-picture near the bottom of your screen, it will appear as though you are looking down, thus giving your patient the impression that you are distracted by something else on your screen.
