How to add Teleconsent 2.0
Before using Teleconsent 2.0 for the first time, you must add the app to your account and agree to the Teleconsent Terms of Service.
From your Dashboard, click Apps
Click Teleconsent to open the overview page
Click Add to doxy.me
Review and accept the terms of service
Once accepted, Teleconsent is installed and available to use at your next appointment
How to use Teleconsent 2.0 as a provider
During a Video call, click Apps on your Control bar
Select Teleconsent to access consent and disclosure forms
To preview a form, click Preview (the button that looks like an 👁)
To start the consent process with a patient, click Start share
Once all required fields are complete and the form is signed, click Generate PDF
Both you and your patient will be prompted to Download PDF to save the document to your device (reminder: doxy.me does not store completed consent forms)
Click Close Teleconsent to return to your appointment
Add emphasis to important details. Select the text and click Highlight for patient. The text you’ve selected will now appear in yellow for your patient.
To guide your patient’s attention to a specific part of the form, click Bring patient to section to direct their screen to your selected area.

Telehealth Appointment Consent Form: Use this form to get a patient's consent to receive care using telehealth
Authorization for Release of Health Information: Use this form to obtain patient consent to share their personal health information with another party
Acknowledgement of Receipt of Privacy Practices Notice: Use this form to confirm that your patient has received a copy of your privacy policies
Consent to a Specified Document: Use this form to document that a patient has reviewed and agreed to a specific document
Understand the patient’s Teleconsent 2.0 experience
The patient’s Teleconsent 2.0 experience is similar to yours with a desktop split view. When a form is shared, it will be displayed on the left side of their screen, while their video call will appear on the right side.
Patients can scroll through the consent form at their own pace.

💡 Regularly check in with your patient during the document review process to confirm you're both on the same page and section of the form.
💡 Each field is designated for either the patient or the provider, allowing you to fill out only the fields assigned to you.
