How to add Transcript to doxy.me

The first time you use Transcript on doxy.me, you’ll need to add the app to your account.

  1. Begin by signing into your doxy.me account.

  2. On the dashboard, navigate to the Apps button on the Sidebar.

  3. Now, find Transcript and click Add to doxy.me.

  4. Once added, the app will be available to use during your next appointment.

How to use Transcript during a session

Transcript can be launched at any time during a doxy.me appointment.

  1. During an appointment, navigate to the Control Bar

  2. Select Apps and choose Transcript from the menu

  3. Click Start

💡 To finish your appointment and receive your transcript, use the red End Call button on your Control Bar. Do not close the tab or window you are working in.

How to download your transcript

Your transcript will be available after your session ends, in the tab where your session took place. It may take up to a minute to generate.

  1. Use the red End Call button on your Control Bar to finish your appointment
    Important note: Do not end the call by closing the tab or using the cross in the corner of your window.

  2. Your transcript will be generated in the same tab where your appointment took place.

  3. You will be able to download the transcript on that tab from your End Call Screen, or your Dashboard.

  4. Download will be available for 30 minutes, after which time the transcript will be automatically deleted for security purposes.

Understand the patient’s Transcript experience

Your patient will be notified once you have launched Transcript and a transcribing notification will remain on their screen for the duration that Transcript is running. Your patient will not receive a copy of the transcript after the call ends.
