Pause Session creates a smooth experience when you need to put a session on hold. Patients stay in their session, enjoying a calming scene with soothing sounds, reducing confusion and delivering an in-office feel.

How to place a call on hold
1. While in a session, navigate to the Control Bar. Click on the More menu and select Pause Call.
2. Patient will stay in the session and experience a calming scene and soothing sounds while you return to the Dashboard.
💡 Conducting a Group Call? Each participant is shown the calming scene and cannot see or interact with other participants.
3. To resume a session:
For a 1:1 session, click “Resume Session” on the Patient Card.
For a Group Call, click "resume" on the Patient Card.
💡 In a Group Call, if a participant switches tabs, minimizes their browser, or their phone locks, their device may block mic/camera access. This removes them from the queue during a paused call and they won’t rejoin automatically when the call resumes.
To prevent this: Ask participants to keep the app/browser open and avoid letting their device lock while waiting.
If it happens: Once the participant returns, pause the call again and then resume to bring everyone back into the session.
