The November release brings new ways to make visits smoother. Starting this month, we’re gradually rolling out a new Check-In experience that automatically tests patients’ video and audio connection, so you can focus on care from the start instead of spending time during the appointment providing tech support. Plus, stay ahead of the Medicare Advance Beneficiary Notice (ABN) requirement with our latest Teleconsent update.
Advance Beneficiary Notice (ABN) form is now available
Available on Pro plans ⭐ Desktop and mobile compatible
You can now use Teleconsent to generate an Advance Beneficiary Notice (ABN) form for Medicare patients. If you offer Medicare-covered services via telehealth, this update makes it easy to notify patients when a service may not be covered and to document their decision about care.
What's new:
Advance Beneficiary Notice (ABN) is now included as a standard consent form
Check-In with Pre-Call Test
Limited release ⭐ Desktop and mobile compatible
Starting this month, we’re gradually rolling out a pre-call test as part of Check-In, confirming patients’ video and audio are ready before joining your Waiting Room. This new experience helps appointments start smoothly, making the most of time for both providers and patients.
What’s new:
Check-In automatically tests camera, mic, speaker, and connection before each doxy.me appointment
Step-by-step instructions if a test fails to fix any spotted issues
See the patient’s connection status once they join the Waiting Room
Gradual rollout starts in November and continues through early 2026
