Take a high-resolution picture to document appointment details

Capture important details in an instant - from symptoms and injuries, to ID and insurance cards. All images are captured in high-resolution and instantly available to download, helping you maintain organized and detailed records.

How to use Photo Capture

Step 1: Go to your Control Bar and select Photo Capture

💡 Tip: Tell your patient why you need to take a photo before opening the app

Step 2: A message that says “Waiting for patient consent” will display at the top of your screen.

  • In order to take a photo, your patient must grant permission using the modal on their screen

  • If your patient does not consent to Photo Capture, you will not be permitted to take a photo of them


Step 3: If your patient gives consent, click the Take photo button located at the top of your screen

  • Your patient’s camera must be on to use Photo Capture

Step 4: The screen will flash when the photo is taken then a photo preview will appear

Step 5: Choose Download or click Retake photo

💡 Tip: The photo's capture date and time, shown in your timezone, appears at the bottom right of the file.

Step 6: Check your device’s downloads folder for the file

💡 Note: If you transfer a patient to another provider or room during a session, any active apps in your session will close, and no session data will be shared. The receiving provider can open any apps they need to continue patient care.
