How to add the Interpreter app
The Interpreter app can be added by paid plan users.
Click the Apps button on your Sidebar
Select the Interpreter app
Click Add to doxy.me
You’ll now see Interpreter as an option when you click on the Apps button in your Sidebar or from the in-call Control Bar.

How to request an interpreter
You can add an interpreter before or during your appointment.
To add an interpreter from the Waiting Room, follow these steps:
Go to your Sidebar and click Apps
Open Interpreter
Select the target language, video preference, and gender requirements
Note: The start language must be English
Click Continue
Track the status of your interpreter request at the top of your screen
When an interpreter accepts your request, they will be added to your Waiting Room
Begin a call with the interpreter or add them to a group call
💡Recommended uses: Have interpreters available for in-person appointments or add multiple participants to a call with an interpreter at once
To add an interpreter during an appointment, follow these steps:
Go to your Control Bar and click Apps
Open Interpreter
Select the target language, video preference, and gender requirements
Note: The start language must be English
Click Continue
Track the status of your interpreter request at the top of your screen
When an interpreter accepts your request, they will be added to your Waiting Room
Add the interpreter to the active appointment
💡Recommended uses: Add interpreters to appointments in progress to communicate with participants in their preferred language
