What's new: July 2025

Exciting new features, updates, and improvements - available today!

Updated over a month ago

This month’s updates are all about making sessions feel smoother and more supportive. Patients get a warmer send-off with a friendlier end call screen, while providers can stay on top of things more easily during an appointment with improved notifications and new Timer app present options. Plus, we’re introducing a new app, Fax.

Introducing Fax – a new Doxy.me App

Available on Pro plans ⭐ Desktop and mobile compatible

Fax makes it easy to securely send documents - like patient records, referrals, or insurance claims - right from your Dashboard.

What’s new:

  • Send up to 10 faxes per day, from any device

  • Add as many sheets as you need, with a customizable cover sheet included

  • No setup or individual fax number required

  • HIPAA-compliant and works worldwide

Preset countdown options added to Timer

Available on Pro plans ⭐ Desktop and mobile compatible

New preset buttons make it easy to start a timer for 5, 15, 30, 45, 50, or 60 minutes—just one click for a faster, more convenient start.

What’s new:

  • Timer can be used exactly as before

  • Preset buttons are available as part of the Timer settings

  • You can still manually enter your chosen duration as before

Refreshed patient End Call Screen

Available on all plans ⭐ Desktop and mobile compatible

When you end the session, patients will now see a friendly illustration of two people waving goodbye, along with their provider’s name—a simple, reassuring cue that their secure session has safely ended.

What's new:

  • Updated session end screen illustration

  • Provider’s name included for added familiarity and security

Improved call notifications

Available on all plans ⭐ Desktop and mobile compatible

Notifications now stack neatly on top of each other for providers and their patients, so everyone can see multiple alerts and updates without losing track of what needs attention.

What’s new:

  • Multiple notifications display in an organized stack instead of one-at-a-time pop-ups

  • Notifications are now found in the bottom right corner of the call screen

  • See the most recent alerts at the top, with older ones visible underneath
