What's New: September 2026

Exciting new features, updates, and improvements — available today!

This month, we’re introducing updates that give providers more ways to engage patients, document care, and keep everyone connected during sessions.

More flexible clinical documentation with Scribe

Available on Premium plans ⭐ Desktop and mobile compatible

Scribe can now be used directly from the dashboard, without starting a telehealth call. Capture documentation for in-person visits using live dictation, typed notes, or document and recording uploads.

This makes it easier to use Scribe across virtual, hybrid, and in-person workflows.

Save custom Teleconsent documents as a draft

Available on Premium plans ⭐ Desktop compatible

Custom Teleconsent documents can now be saved as drafts. You can create a consent, intake, or privacy form, save your progress, and return to make changes before publishing.

This gives you more flexibility to review and refine documents before sharing them with patients.

New CBT Activities

Available on Premium plans ⭐ Desktop and mobile compatible

CBT Activities now includes Mood Meter, New Perspectives, Emotion Scale, and more to help you engage patients during sessions.

With more activities to choose from, you can better tailor sessions to each client's needs - helping clients identify and name emotions, tell thoughts apart from feelings, reframe unhelpful thinking, and build coping strategies directly in session.

Add phone participants to Group Calls

Available on Premium plans ⭐ Desktop compatible

Group Calls now support both video and phone participants in the same session. You can add someone by phone using Dialer while others join through doxy.me.

This makes it easier to include everyone needed in a visit, even when someone cannot connect by video. Dialer currently supports US phone numbers.

Automatic Picture-in-Picture

Available on all plans ⭐ Desktop compatible

Picture-in-Picture now launches automatically when you switch away from your doxy.me call tab and returns to the full call view when you return to the doxy.me session tab. When automatic Picture-in-Picture isn’t supported by the browser, it can still be launched manually.

This keeps patients visible while you use other tabs or tools, making it easier to multitask without losing visual connection during the call.

A new visual when a call is paused

Available on Premium plans ⭐ Desktop and mobile compatible

Patients now see a calmer, more accessible visual when you pause a call, replacing the previous sand video. The existing pause audio and pause-and-resume workflow remain the same.

The updated experience continues to make it clear that the call is paused while creating a more comfortable experience for patients.
