Rooms - Premium plan
This area of the Dashboard stays visible during your doxy.me experience and shows you all rooms that you can access. If you are a Premium user with access to multiple rooms, this section will replace My Room.
At the top of the list will be your Personal Room. Next, all other rooms are listed in alphabetical order. These rooms can include other users’ Personal Rooms that they’ve granted you access to or Shared Rooms that your clinic controls.
To the right of the Rooms label, you’ll find a filter button.
The filter button opens to two options: a sorting dropdown and a rooms filter
Sort by:
Rooms: Shows all patients in all available rooms
Longest wait time: Orders the patient list by those who have waited the longest amount of time
Shortest wait time: Orders the patient list by those who have waited the shortest amount of time
Rooms filter:
Allows you to pick which room or rooms you see in the overall Rooms list
Affects both what you see and where you appear available to patients. If a room is not included in your filter, patients waiting there will not appear in your Rooms list, and you will not appear available in that room.
The first time you access the Rooms panel, a short message explains how filtering works. This message appears only once and will not show again after it has been dismissed.
The filter and sort options will reset whenever you log out of doxy.me and log back in. This also occurs if your internet session refreshes.
The Settings button takes you directly to the Rooms tab of Settings where you can view room level settings, access, and more.

Self-Preview
This feature helps you view and test your video and audio before an appointment so you know what to expect.
On the top left corner of the Self-Preview feature, you'll find a menu button with three dots. Use this menu to view the video of yourself that patients will see, change your Virtual Background*, and turn on/off your camera and microphone. You can also use this menu to adjust your camera and microphone settings if you need to change cameras, microphones, or speakers.
At the top right corner, there is a blue/green box with waves that indicate if your microphone is functioning. The lines in the box will move as you speak to indicate the microphone is picking up sound from your device.
To remove Self-Preview from your Dashboard, visit the Preferences page of Settings and toggle off the feature.
*Virtual Background is available on paid plans
Test your audio and video
Ensure your audio and video are working before starting an appointment with the test found below the Self-Preview. Click the button to open a self-guided test to make sure you're ready for appointments.
